Cork business Declim Ltd. secures feature on Ireland AM as part of Virgin Media #BackingBusiness campaign
The #BackingBusiness initiative continues to promote companies across Ireland
Friday 11th September: Cork-based Declim Ltd. has been revealed as the latest company to feature as part of Virgin Media’s #BackingBusiness campaign. A guaranteed Irish company, manufacturing ‘FILFIX’ brand book covering products, the business was profiled this week on Ireland AM on Virgin Media One.
Declim first produced and sold its first box of FILFIX products in 1988 and, as schools return to the classroom, has now launched a new hygienic and safe book covering system. The FILFIX peel and seal book covering method uses recyclable polypropylene covers that can be wiped clean.
Kevin Fitzgerald, Director of Declim Ltd, said “Being part of Backing Business is fantastic exposure for the Filfix peel and seal book covering system. It means that we can reach more schools and parents and highlight to them the benefits of hygienic and safe book covering, which is crucial as the pandemic continues.
By featuring on Backing Business, Filfix hopes to achieve more awareness and education around safe practices for book covering in schools. We aim to be a reliable partner for parents and schools as they operate under the Covid restrictions. We want to help educators to make their schools as safe as possible.”
Since launching in May, #BackingBusiness has featured hundreds of businesses across Virgin Media TV and social media platforms. Many challenges remain for Irish businesses across the nation as they reopen their doors and we want to continue to help them get back on their feet.
