Virgin TV Launches New Campaign focusing on new era in entertainment

Monday 16th January 2017 : Virgin TV launches new campaign focusing on a new era in entertainment, one which is no longer just about TV but the combination of great TV and superfast broadband.

The campaign entitled, ‘Long Live Virgin TV’ revisits the old world of TV and entertainment before flashing to the future of entertainment and the breadth of exciting home entertainment content available on Virgin TV.

Paul Farrell, Commercial Vice President at Virgin Media, said: "We are really excited about this campaign which is a major investment by Virgin TV. The world of entertainment has changed; our favourite shows are no longer just on live TV and it’s no longer just about what you want to watch, it’s how you want to watch it. Whether it is through catch up, on demand or Netflix, the fantastic content that Customers now expect is all seamlessly integrated on Virgin TV and available at the touch of a button”.

Created by Rothco and directed by Irish director Brian Williams, who worked on U2’s ground-breaking Zoo TV, the voiceover on the ad is by Brian Cox. The campaign features a 60and 40 second ad and will run from January to April 2017 across TV, cinema, video-on-demand, display, radio, mobile, social, search, and out-of-home channels.
