UPC named Ireland’s Best Broadband Provider

Dublin, 28th February 2014 – UPC, Ireland’s leading TV, broadband and communications innovator, has been named as Ireland’s Best Broadband Provider at the inagural uSwitch Broadband Awards, recognising the broadband provider in Ireland that has the achieved the highest overall customer ratings across all categories in the awards.

Chosen by consumers to win the overall accolade, UPC was the only provider to be nominated in all ten categories demonstrating the leadership and consumer benefits of UPC’s fibre power network in the Irish broadband market.

The ceremony took place last night, Thursday 27th February at Dublin’s Marker Hotel and saw UPC emerging as the best of the Irish home broadband industry with awards for Overall Best Broadband Provider, Fastest Home Broadband Provider; Best Technical Support and Most Recommended Broadband Provider.

The awards programme is organised by uSwitch.ie, the independent broadband price comparison and switching service provider. Nominees were shortlisted by broadband customers for the top broadband awards.
