AWAY

Season 1 available now

A sci-fi spectacular led by Hilary Swank, this titanic ten-part series tells the story of an astronaut who must leave her husband and daughter to command a crew on a long and dangerous mission to Mars. Emotionally powerful and epic in scale, it’s a show that combines both the vast expanse of the universe and the tight-knit bonds of family to create a tale to touch any viewer – even if that means rewatching it again to enjoy the visuals alone!

JULIE AND THE PHANTOMS

Season 1 available September 10th

When it comes to making the action on screen sing, Kenny Ortega is The Man; from High School Musical to Dirty Dancing, he’s had a hand in loads of melodic megahits! Prepare to add another to the list, then, as we meet a teenager who lost her passion for performance – but meets some spirits who have other ideas! Toe-tapping tunes and heartwarming laughs are the order of the day in a musical comedy you’ll be dying to see (sorry)!

RATCHED

Season 1 available September 18th

Ryan Murphy’s horror know-how is beyond reproach given the American Horror Story anthology; now, AHS alum Sarah Paulson steps into one of the most famous roles in horror, as the terrifying Nurse Mildred Ratched in this prequel of One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest. Expect creepy drama, bloodcurdling murder and all manner of other frightening fare, as a classic story gets the contemporary treatment we’ve waited decades for!

ENOLA HOLMES

Available September 23rd

Sherlock’s little sis gets the spotlight this time around – and it’s only Millie Bobby Brown in the movie’s title role! And while she’s a long way from Hawkins, you’d best believe that mystery is still the order of the day, as the disappearance of her mother sends the teenaged super-sleuth on a journey that will unravel a conspiracy bigger than she’d ever have imagined! Throw in Henry Cavill as big bro, and there’s something for just about everyone…

THE TRIAL OF THE CHICAGO SEVEN

Available October 16th

The factual events of 1968 provide the basis for this star-studded legal drama film, crafted by the inimitable Aaron Sorkin. With Sacha Baron Cohen, Eddie Redmayne, Mark Rylance and Joseph Gordon-Levitt amongst the cast, there’s no shortage of big names but it’s the story – following a group of anti-war protesters who find themselves charged with inciting a riot, that’s sure to have everyone talking long after the credits have rolled!

Virgin Media’s broadband ranks #1 on the Netflix Speed Test, meaning it’s the best place to catch this lot; make sure you’re at the top of your game by taking a Speed Test.
