Our Top Fantasy Premier League Team…So Far!

Hindsight is most definitely 20/20 – and that’s certainly the case when it comes to our fantasy teams! Who imagined Nick Pope would keep 11 clean sheets last year, or that Glenn Murray would bang them in at a rate equal to Hazard and Mahrez?!

Well, we’re trying to stay on the ball this season, and keeping an eye on the top performers this time around. Some are predictable, and others most definitely aren’t – here are 11 that you’d be smiling had you selected at kick-off…

WAYNE HENNESSEY

Crystal Palace might have made a distinctly mediocre start to the season, but the man in nets is doing a sterling job thus far.

MARCOS ALONSO

Being part of a stingy defense at Stamford Bridge doesn’t hurt, but it’s his surging runs and penchant for a final pass that’s earned the Spaniard a spot here.

TRENT ALEXANDER-ARNOLD

Aside from having a name that’s just a lot of fun to say, this guy’s fondness for getting forward is paying dividends for owners everywhere!

SHANE DUFFY

Proof that a big man at set-pieces remains one of the best weapons you can have, the Derry native has bagged two goals thus far – and, so, a fair rake of points too!

EDEN HAZARD

The Belgian dangerman is the creative force of their side – especially with their new slow-and-steady approach through the middle – and has proven his worth already.

MO SALAH

The Kop’s Egyptian king is amongst the best in the world, so not one to be overlooked (especially not when he counts as a midfielder!)

JAMES MADDISON

The Leicester midfielder is already being tipped for a big international future – and his dead-ball expertise makes him a massive asset in the fantasy present!

RYAN FRASER

The Bournemouth winger grabbed a brace against Leicester and has a few assists to his name too – Dean Court might not be your usual spot to find a key man, but think again!

SERGIO AGUERO

Well, surprise surprise! The Argentinian marksman has already been banging them in for City – who needs Kevin de Bruyne, eh?!

ALEKSANDAR MITROVIC

Following a stunning loan spell at the club last year, Fulham were eager to get the Serb on a permanent basis – and any fantasy managers should be thinking likewise!

ALEXANDRE LACAZETTE

He might have had an inconsistent campaign to begin his Arsenal career, but the Frenchman is looking sharp as both scorer and supplier this term.
