Get Ready to Paint the Town Red on Sunday May 22nd


• First ever Virgin Media Night Run in partnership with Athletics Ireland
• See Red and Run in Dublin City Centre on 22nd May with over 7,000 set to take part
• Virgin Media Night Run to support Dublin Simon Community with 60 Virgin Media staff raising 10k for the charity

 

Wednesday 4th of May 2016, Dublin: It’s almost time to see Red and Run! Virgin Media in partnership with Athletics Ireland and Dublin Simon Community, is counting down to the first ever Virgin Media Night Run which will be taking over the streets of Dublin in just over two weeks.


On Sunday May 22nd the streets will turn red with thousands of avid runners, walkers and joggers taking part in the Virgin Media Night Run which kicks off at 9.30pm. Registration closes on Thursday May 18th, so make sure to register at www.virginmedia.ie/nightrun before it’s too late.


The route, starting at Custom House Quay takes in the IFSC, Grand Canal Dock and Ringsend will see thousands of enthusiastic runners of all levels and ages enjoying a great night out along the streets and riversides of Dublin over the 10k course. Virgin Media will provide all runners taking part with a brand new red hot running top to be worn on the night along with numerous other goodies.

The city comes alive at night and we want everyone to come into town and enjoy this fantastic run. It’s an ideal event for regular runners, athletic clubs and everyone who simply loves to get out and run. There has already been such a huge interest in registering to take part and we are urging everyone to come out and join us.”


Anyone who registers will receive a free Virgin Media running pack, which includes a Virgin Media jogging vest and race number (chipped and time monitored).
